UAE E-Invoicing, Explained Simply

It is much more than emailing a PDF invoice

Structured data, not a PDF

A UAE e-invoice is structured data in the PINT AE format with 51 mandatory fields. PDF, Word, image, scanned and emailed invoices are not e-invoices.

The five-corner Peppol model

You send the invoice from your software to your Accredited Service Provider, which validates it and passes it over the Peppol network to your customer's ASP — while the tax data goes to the FTA.

Reported to the FTA

The UAE Federal Tax Authority receives your invoice data through the ASP, which helps pre-populate VAT returns — but it also means errors in your invoice data are caught immediately.

Official register listing

Zoho is an Accredited e-Invoicing Service Provider

Zoho Software Trading LLC is listed on the UAE Ministry of Finance's official register of accredited e-Invoicing Service Providers. As an ASP, Zoho validates your invoices, exchanges them over the Peppol network and transmits the tax data to the Federal Tax Authority — directly from your Zoho Books account.

Anantara Accounting is an Authorized Zoho Partner. We are not the ASP — we configure, test and support your e-invoicing so that you are live and compliant without disrupting your finance team.

Not on Zoho Books yet?

If your current software — Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage or Excel — cannot produce compliant PINT AE invoice data, you don't need to run two systems. We migrate your ledgers, balances, inventory and history to Zoho Books and enable e-invoicing in the same project.
